Plantation Homes Launches No Closing Cost Sales Event
February 8, 2019
This month Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes are launching a new incentive designed to get buyers moving for less.
During the Get Moving Sales Event, Feb. 8 - 28, Houston-area buyers who use the builders’ approved lenders will pay no closing costs, saving them on out-of-pocket expenses.
Closing costs include a variety of expenses above the purchase price of a home such as fees for an attorney, a title search, title insurance, taxes, lender costs and some upfront housing expenses such as homeowners insurance.
“Buyers typically focus on saving for the down payment but may not realize they are expected to pay a variety of fees when they close,” said Paul Blackburn, region president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., (MHI), parent company of Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes. “Those fees can average 2 to 5 percent of the purchase price. With our promotion, buyers will get a gorgeous new home and leave money in the bank.”
Plantation and Coventry homes can save buyers money in other ways, as they are built to stringent Environments for Living guidelines ensuring a healthier “greener” home that saves buyers money on heating and cooling costs.
Both builders offer a range of home choices in highly sought-after communities throughout the Houston area. A signature feature of the homes are flexible floor plans that allow buyers to add and subtract the features they want the most.
Coventry Homes is active in 28 communities in and around Houston with homes priced from the $300,000s to more than $1 million. Plantation Homes can be found in 19 communities. Homes are priced from the $190,000s to more than $500,000.
