Celebrate the arrival of Spring with Plantation Homes and Harvest Green during the innovative community’s two-day Grand Opening celebration.
Fort Bend’s new, farm-centric community will hold the free festivities from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, March 12, and 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 13. The Revis, Kevin Black and The Spazmatics will provide live music while children and parents enjoy a petting zoo, a farmers market, face painting, a pig roast and more.
Attendees also will have an opportunity to explore the many model homes offered in the community, including Plantation Homes’ well-appointed, 3,381-square-foot Whitney design at 3423 Heather Garden Trace. Designed with Harvest Green’s unique ethos in mind, the two-story model offers plenty of family-friendly living spaces including four bedrooms, a two-story family room, gourmet island kitchen, wine room, media room and a spacious master suite overlooking the back garden.
Plantation Homes offers 12 plans in the community — a mixture of its best-selling designs and some created just for Harvest Green. Homes, ranging from approximately 2,000 to more than 3,400 square feet, are priced from the $280,000's.
Harvest Green is located in southwest Houston, and is centered on a community farm. Residents will enjoy the opportunity to grow their own food at the Village Farm or in optional backyard gardens, as well as enjoy and chef-led culinary classes, wine dinners and more. Planned amenities will include an event barn, 280 acres of greenbelt and open spaces, 50 acres of parkland and more than 30 acres of lakes and waterways including Oyster Creek, which will wind through the community.
